Parish Nurse

Parish nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing which focuses on physical, emotional and spiritual care and wellness within a faith community. The parish nurse is a registered nurse with specialized knowledge who serves our faith community through advocacy, networking, with healthcare providers, clergy and support groups.

Visitation Ministry, Home and Long-Term Care

Volunteers in this ministry bring prayer and Communion to people who are unable to attend church. They also supply some assistance in the social and medical care of these vulnerable individuals. Companionship is a vital component of this ministry. Membership is comprised of volunteers who go through a period of training and who are missioned by the Pastor.
