Income Tax Preparation Volunteers Program
Every year, on specified Saturdays during the month of February, March, April (by appointment only: those who need help with income tax returns and qualify for the service must make an appointment through the parish office). Volunteers help with simple tax returns for the elderly, new immigrants and those on social assistance.
Our Lady of Lourdes Food Bank
It is located at 275 Bleecker St. on the Southeast corner, back entrance. The boundaries are from Bloor St. south to Wellesley St. and Yonge St. east to the Don Valley. If you reside outside our boundaries, please call the Daily Break Food Bank 413-203-0050 for a referral to a Food Bank near you. Each new comer to the Food Bank is interviewed privately.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
Our St. Vincent de Paul Society provides emergency assistance by way of food, clothing and furniture, giving those in need access to basic necessities. Members also give friendship, guidance and referrals to enable individuals and families to improve their situations through community programs and parish involvement. Each December, St.
