Engaged Encounters (Retreat for Marriage Preparation)
The Engaged Encounters program is offered two weekends a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. The weekend begins at 8am on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday afternoon at approximately 4pm.
Marriage At Lourdes
The Marriage Ceremony
As your special day approaches, you will be given a small booklet called “Celebrating Our Love.” This contains a selections of readings and all the various rites of the marriage ceremony. This is your sacrament and you should feel free to structure it to meet your own needs.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA carries on the Mission of the Church by offering an effective program for education and take on the mind and heart of Jesus Christ according to the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. It is designed for those who might be interested in becoming Catholic and for those who want to increase their understanding of the Faith in community.
Sacrament of Baptism
You are preparing to have your child baptized. This is a very special time for you and your family. Whether you child is a new born or a few years old, this is a time for celebrating God’s gift of life and love.
Sacramental Catch-Up
Sacramental Catch-up classes are for children 7 – 17 years of age. Children, who attend Public schools or Catholic Schools and have missed receiving these sacraments, are welcome to join these classes. Classes are held Saturdays, 10-11:30am and begin in October. Preparation for 1st Reconciliation is from October to December. A 1st Reconciliation Celebration is held during Advent.
