Living the Gospel; Supporting ShareLife

Gia Lao Parish resides in the mountainous Diocese of Xuan Loc in Vietnam. Its parishioners, mostly poor, work on the hillside farms. The Pastoral Mission Fund, with the support of ShareLife, provided a one-time grant so the parish could acquire resources it could not otherwise provide.

Palm Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

Easter Greenery

Those who wish to donate Spring/Easter plants or flowers for our church décor for the Easter Season are invited to bring them to the church during the week of Monday, March 26th to Friday, March 30th. A table will be set up by the Sacristy door all week for you to place them on.

Altar of Repose

At the end of the Holy Thursday Mass the Holy Eucharist is carried in procession through the church. The church is emptied of the Blessed Sacrament which is carried and placed in an Altar of Repose.

Parking During the Easter Triduum

In anticipation of the large crowds expected for Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil, we have reserved parking at Monsignor Fraser College at 146 Isabella St for the overflow from our parking lot. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Lenten Parish Choir

Are you interested in singing with the choir during this Season of Lent? The Holy Thursday Mass and Good Friday Service are two opportunities to offer yourself to the Lord and experience His Passion more deeply through the ministry of music.

You can also pick up a copy of our 2018 Holy Week and Easter Schedule at the entrances of the Church.
