December 2014

Holy Family

As at the crib, in a glance of faith we embrace together the divine Child and the persons beside him: his most holy Mother and Joseph, his putative father. What light shines from this Christmas "group icon"! A light of mercy and salvation for the whole world, a light of truth for every person, for the human family and for individual families.

2014 Donations & Tax Receipts

According to Tax laws, the Church can only issue income tax receipts for 2014 for donations received by the Church in 2014. Any donation received after December 31st (either in the offertory basket or in the mail) can only be receipted for 2015.

Parish Office Hours

If you are hoping to drop something off, pick something up, make a Mass Offering or any other inquiries; please stop by any time this week, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. The Office will also be closed on Wednesday, December 31, and Thursday, January 1st.

4th Sunday of Advent

In These Last Days of Advent, Enjoy These Words of St John Paul II

Advent keeps alive our expectation of Christ who will come to visit us with his salvation, fully establishing his Kingdom of justice and peace.

Christmas Schedule 2014 (Updated)

If you haven’t already, be sure to pick up a copy of our Advent and Christmas Schedule, available at the entrances of the church and from our Parish Office. Euthanasia, Bill Q-52, and You

Join us on Thursday, December 18th at 7pm in the Library for a talk by former National Post reporter Charlie Lewis on Euthanasia, the movement to legalize it here in Canada and the Roman Catholic perspective.
