22nd Sunday (Bulletin)

Beauty From Our Faith:

“Take up your abode in the lovable Heart of Jesus, and you will find therein imperturbable peace and the strength to carry out the good desires He gives you. Bring to this divine Heart all your troubles and afflictions, for whatever emanates from the Sacred Heart is sweet: It changes everything into love.”

21st Sunday (Bulletin)

“Lord, to whom can we go?
You have the words of eternal life.
We have come to believe and know
that you are the Holy One of God.”
~ John 6.68

Note from St Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul Society

Our St Vincent de Paul Society is very grateful to all those who regularly donate clean and gently used clothing for those in need. However, at the current moment, their storage is filled to overflowing and with the current construction on our church; there is no space in the basement for overflow of donations.

20th Sunday (Alpha & Bulletin)

The Pastor’s Note will take a brief vacation and return on the first Sunday in September, but today is Alpha Sunday. What is Alpha, you ask?

Renovations

Renovations on the church have started and will continue through November. A number of parking spots in the south-west corner (near the rectory) have been fenced off for construction materials and a trailer. This will make our parking lot a little smaller for the next few months.

19th Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

One of the things that never fails to impress me is the generosity of so many of our parishioners. We may have an activity at the church or at another location, like our “Parish Picnic,” and so many of our church members come and set up or stay late cleaning and putting things away. At such a time, I’m always reminded of how good and kind we can be.
