26th Sunday (Bulletin)

We're sorry, but Fr Sullivan was unable to provide us with his thoughts for this week. Please see enclosed for the weekly bulletin.

How to Read The Holy Bible

There are many ways to pray and read the Holy Bible. In this workshop series we will look at simple ways to begin to read and understand the Word of God and how we can live it. Come and join Sr Mary Babic on Mondays in the month of November from 7pm to 8pm in the Library.

Refugee Sponsorship

Since early spring, the parish has been preparing to sponsor a refugee family. With the current refugee crisis, and Cardinal Collins’ recent announcement regarding Project Hope, in support of refugee sponsorship, those preparations have now been expedited.

Project Hope

In response to the global humanitarian crisis, Cardinal Collins has announced the launch of “Project Hope,” a special emergency appeal to respond to the tragic situation of refugees throughout the world. The 100-day campaign will have a target of $3 million and a goal of settling 100 refugee families within the Greater Toronto area.

25th Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

According to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, the number of refugees and displaced people has reached the highest point since World War II. In its annual report, released last June, the UNHCR reported that in 2014 there were almost 60 million refugees and internally displaced people throughout the world.

Capital Campaign: Update

We are into the final phase of our Capital Campaign and are hoping to wrap everything up by the end of October. We have crested the 1.2M mark and are doing great toward covering the projected 1.5M cost for our much needed renovations!  The general mail-out is taking place now, so please keep an eye out for your campaign package.
