Most Holy Trinity (Note & Bulletin)

I remember when we were training to be ordained priests, we had one class called “Presiding.” In this class, we were taught how to preside at the different sacraments. Each week we would all take turns practicing our presiding in front of the others.

Famous 50/50 Draw

Our famous 50/50 draw is back again for this year’s Parish Bazaar. This year’s scheduled jackpot is $5,000. 5,000 tickets have been printed and are priced at $2 each. Tickets are be available from our Welcome Desk or from our Parish Office.

Pentecost Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

One of my favourite religious songs is called “Jubilate Servite.” The words of the song are “Jubilate Deo omnis terra, servite Domino in laetitia” (“Make a joyful sound to God, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness”).

ShareLife Walkathon

Fr John will lead our parish walkathon for ShareLife –come and encourage him by taking part.! Registration and pledge forms will be available starting this weekend from our Welcome Desk. All proceeds will go to the good works supported by the Archdiocesan ShareLife Fund.

Garden News

This year the gardens of Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be part of the Cabbagetown Garden Tour, Hidden Gardens & Private Spaces, on Sunday June 3rd, 2018 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Volunteers from our garden team will be on hand to talk to visitors.

Annual Parish Bazaar: Volunteers

Preparations are beginning for our Parish Bazaar on June 16th and we are looking for people who would like to help out. We need people throughout the day, to help set up in the morning, help out during the day and clean up in the afternoon. Join us for a couple of hours or for the whole day.

Novena to the Sacred Heart

Join us in prayer Monday through Friday at 4:30pm in the Church from May 30 to June 7. Our prayer will include the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. For those unable to join us in the church, copies of the novena will be available with next Sunday’s bulletin.

Our Lady of Lourdes presents a workshop series focused on Helping without Hurting regarding Poverty, Relationships, and Change.
