3rd Lenten Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

In one of my favourite prayers by Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the “Anima Christi,” there is a line that reads, “Do not allow me to be separated from you.” I love this line because it expresses both the hope and fear we have in our lives of faith. We hope that the Lord will always be with us.


The RCIA Journey

Over the next three weeks adults who have been preparing for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion in our community will enter the final phase of preparation before Easter.

Join us for our Lenten Parish Mission to be held in the church over three evenings – March 12, 13 & 14th at 7:30pm. Our own Fr John Sullivan, SJ will guide us through these gatherings of reflection and prayer.

As Christians our goal is union with God, that is, God himself. And freedom is like the symptom or manifestation of growing closer to God. Freedom is not our goal, but it can help us have a sense of the depth of God’s presence in our lives.
